We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Support Analyst to join our dynamic team.

Full training will be provided to the right candidate, however some general IT experience and an attitude to work in a highly technical support team will be needed.

Job Description

As a Junior Support Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting a variety of technologies including environments, software applications, integrations, and operating systems. Based at our new prestigious Birmingham city centre office, you will be part of a dynamic and customer centric team that provides technical assistance to ensure the smooth operation and delivery of business-critical services to some of our key UK based customers.  

This is an entry-level position and a unique opportunity, perfect for recent graduates or individuals looking to start or further develop a career in IT support, working for a prestigious and IT services organisation. 

 Main Responsibilities: 

  • Learn to provide first-line support for applications, including troubleshooting basic issues and escalating more complex problems. 
  • Assist in monitoring application performance and identifying potential issues. 
  • Work closely with the team to learn and understand how to resolve software issues and assist in maintaining smooth operations. 
  • Document support activities and issue resolutions as part of the training process. 
  • Collaborate with team members and customers to provide excellent service and support. 
  • Participate in training sessions to learn about our applications and support processes.

     

  • Provide user support and training to help clients utilise applications effectively. 

Person Specification

Qualifications Skills and Experience 

  • A strong interest in technology and IT support. 
  • Willingness to learn and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach. 
  • Basic understanding of computers and software applications; familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 especially Excel is a plus. 
  • Ability to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team. 
  • No prior experience is necessary; full training will be provided.
